National ID cards to log in to online services

YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and even Uber users from most EU countries (except Denmark and the UK) may come into a situation that they will need National ID cards to log into all these social networks.

This is not a new idea, just one that has been "resurrected" and it will certainly deal a serious blow to user privacy.
